‘’Morph’’ side table is a result of a collaboration with Katie Stout, Brooklyn-based designer/artist. In this design we wanted to push our boundaries and at the same time to go back to our basic sketches, where usually our first visual starts to appear. Purifying our sketches and elaborating them to create geometrical shape is our method; in ‘’Morph’’ we wanted to translate our rough sketch to reality without the simplification process. A free, spontaneous and naïve design made out of a mix of ceramic, clay and casted brass, where all components are made and shaped by hand, without any machine involvement. In a process of a back and forth sketching game, where each designer was adding his/her own touch and thoughts to the initial sketch, the piece turned out to be a well welded and brewed design that represents the power of this collaboration.
