    Schloss Hollenegg

    Tamara Barrage

This July, Tamara Barrage is a visiting designer, pursuing her residency at Schloss Hollenegg for Design. Schloss Hollenegg's mission is to support young emerging designers, with the aim of creating space for design research, thinking and critiquing. It offers one of the few residency programs specifically aimed at designers, as well as organising exhibitions, workshops and symposia centered around design. Tamara barrage is Lebanese designer and artist that explores the relation between the organic and the inorganic, through an array of experimental techniques and processes. With her objects and installations, Tamara is building a hybrid ecosystem, with creations that are somehow unfamiliar, somehow if one looks closely enough, all too familiar. House of Today meets designers at various points across their design journeys, and works closely with them to foster and grow their creative spirit, through education opportunities, lectures, residencies and scholarships.
