'Théo, Rolf & Walt’ is a collection of ceiling lamps by nadine hajjar studio that draw their inspiration from Fritz Lang’s ‘Metropolis’. Very organic and smooth from outside, the viewer is surprised by the geometry created in their interior. The surprise effect is also highlighted through the contrast of the black exterior and the interiors’ natural wood finish. Each piece of pine wood is glued to each other to form a shape that is hand sculpted at the end. When lit, the lamps create an effect of light and shadow as well as a deep geometric maze. Each lamp has a different interior and is always a unique piece.
