Nada Rizk is Lebanese Finnish artist and designer based in Beirut.
Graduated from the London School of Economics with a Masters degree in Political Sciences and International Relations , years later she fulfills her love for art and design and graduates from the Académie Libanaise des Beaux Arts with a degree in visual arts.
Her hand built or hand altered sculptures spring from a multitude of images in the natural and imaginary worlds.
Working mainly in clay, she was attracted by the similarities in organic colors and textures of the marble she chose to work with for her Neptune’s Cup series.
Her pieces are inspired by legends and myths surrounding her Levantine heritage while being simple, organic and contemporary in shape bearing the influence of her Finnish connection.
She is continuously investigating art and design through new forms, textures and mediums.
